DWTS: Week 2

So the second week. We're definitely looking for people to step it up this week and hopefully more sucky people will go home!

First up, Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke did the Jive. I think they were cute. Nothing spectacular, but it was ok. I think he's incredibly cheesey in the face. That whole musical theatre thing that I just could never do. The judges loved him, because his a big guy who has an injury and can move quick. So 7's across the board for a 21.

Next Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas doing the Quick Step. She is beautiful. She's 76 and she dances so well. She's elegant, graceful, and just stunning. I love her so much. I thought she was gonna be a huge snooze this week, but she was so awesome. Corky is annoying and added such a stupid ending to the dance and just pissed me off. Overall I thought she was great. She ended up with a 7, 6, 6 for a total of 19 which is disappointing, but let's hope she sticks around.

Then Brandy and Maks did the Jive. I can't stand Brandy. She's just a bitch. She was calling out Maks in rehearsal for teaching her how to dance. Well, sorry sweetie, it's dance, and you're not an expert and he is. So just the F up and listen to what he's telling you. Because you got out on the dance floor and sucked balls. There was nothing clean about what you did. You moved slow and were just overall boring. The judges thought she was cute but were technically bad. Ugh and then you call out Maks during the judges crap. Who cares what he choreographed. You're job is to get out there and sell it. Why are you on this show again? Oh yeah, because you're career is in the toilet, stop being a bitch so you can get it back! And you're lucky the judges all gave you 7's so you're not in the bottom. No one vote for this stuck up snob.

Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower doing the Jive. Ok this was just plain bad. I'm not sure if he was still sick, but halfway through he looked like he was going to pass out. It was a lot of miserable movements and just halfassed. I'm not sure what was going on, he missed everything basic and just barely got through it. I'm not gonna lie, I think he might be going home this week.
The judges didn't like it either. They thought he was sloppy and Bruno actually said it was the worst in 11 seasons. Carrie Ann is the best at critiquing. She gives a nice preface of how she knows what they are going through, but then delivers a shattering judgement of the performance. After a 4, 5, and a 3, for a total of 12, I think it's pretty obvious he's going home. I've never seen a score so low. I'm shocked!

Audrina Patridge and Tony Donolovesomethingican'tsay doing the Quick Step. Wow! Ok, she did great last week, and this week just KILLED it! I can't stand her, but she brings it on the dance floor. She doesn't hold back and just nails her steps, giving it an extra flair. I wouldn't be surprised if she had a little bit of dance training before this. The judges obviously liked it too. Liked her movement, her posture, and technique. I mean, for real, this girl is HOT, her body is sexy and just gorgeous. She got an 8, 8, and a 7 for a total of 23 and by far the highest score of the night.

Next up is Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough doing the Jive. Obviously they are my favorites and I was hoping for greatness. OMG!!! She delievered. She is so amazing. I know that she was in Dirty Dancing and whatever, but that bitch is 50 and so stunning! Her footwork was awesome and super high energy. The judges loved her and gave her the highest scores so far; 8, 8, and 8 and once again they are the high scorers of the evening. Please please please vote for her!!!

Margaret Cho and Louis up doing the Quick Step. Last week she did some bad comedy in her routine, and luckily she kept it clean and simple. Not a great performance, but it was a solid performance, high energy and just fun. I am so glad she didn't do campy comedy. She was pretty and fun. The judges liked her, but I don't think they loved it. It was kind of blah. I think she'll be safe, but not the high of the week, but not the lowest either. A 6, 6, and a 6 for 18 total, and let's hope she sticks around.

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer with the Jive were just boring. I mean, technically it was good, but I just don't get much out of this guy. last week he was awesome and this week it was just kinda blah for me. He's funny and energetic, but I don't get the appeal of this guy. The judges love him, which I guess I get because he dances well, but I just don't like him. The judges gave him an 8, 7, and a 7 for a 22. I'm glad he didn't score high. Vote for Jennifer Grey!!!

Kurt Warner and Anna doing the Jive. I wasn't very hopeful because last week was such a bummer. But, I know that Anna is someone who works hard and makes people better. This week was better...for her. Kurt was just a little bit better. Nothing special, but not totally bad. I think he lacks a lot of technique, but he makes up for it with his effort. He tries so hard and is really, overall, not bad. He's fun to watch and just entertaining. The judges liked him a lot more this week, so he'll be around for a little bit. 7, 7, 7 for a 21, so yeah, he'll be around.

Mike Sorrentino and Karina doing the Quick Step. First off, I will always think he's a moron. That being said, he did alright. I was surprised. I didn't think he was gonna be amazing, and he wasn't, but he held his own. I think he lucked out with the partner he has because she kicks his ass hard. And like she said, "not many women get to do that." It was fun. I'm sure he'll be around because we all know he has HUGE following. The judges thought he did well, but not amazing. They think it was obvious that he was trying, but he has no musicality at all. None at all. HAHA, that would totally explain why all he does is fist pump. He got all 6's and is now tied with Margaret Cho at 18. I hope he's gone soon. I just can't stand him.

Bristol Palin and Mark Balls with Mama Palin watching this week doing the Quick Step. She was, in a word, BORING. I still think she'll stay on for a couple of more weeks, but it wasn't anything special. I think she's just afraid to really put herself out there. I want to see some fight that she really wants to be there. I want aggression and passion and fun. The judges liked her a lot and so because of that, she'll be there for a bit. Plus she has an entire state voting for her. Her scores were shocking!!! WHAT?? She got a 22! I am stunned! I can't believe it.

Overall, I still think Michael Bolton will go this week. Brandy should be going soon, don't worry about that!

And the singing. Have we discussed this yet? I wish they didn't have to have someone else singing the songs. I wish they could get the actual stars to sing them. It sounds so corny and chesseball each week. I was actually hoping last season while Nicole Scherzinger was on that someone would do a Pussy Cat Dolls song . Enough said.

Anywho, Jennifer Grey all the way!!! Do it up!
